The Compass Rose Cavalier is a complete French woodworking bench in the Roubo style. It features a 3.5” slab top, thick legs and stretchers, and mortise-and-tenon construction. All the joints are pinned or drawbored with hardwood dowels, and the complete bench weighs over 330lbs. The bench arrives as a kit made from CNC-cut Baltic Birch Plywood. You can assemble the finished bench in about a day (plus time for the glue to dry). The Cavalier lets you build that dream bench quickly and it costs much less than pre-built, custom-made bench.
